Aug/ Sept. 2011

This video is a little out of order, it was part of Lexi's field day at school.  The challenge was that all their 3rd grade class had to get over the bar without touching it.  They were supposed to be creative and use teamwork, but their class had an advantage.  Their adult helper happened to be this burly man who was able to just toss them all over without breaking a sweat.  It didn't exactly go as intended, but it worked and it was really fun to watch.

Here's the first day of school for Lexi in 3rd grade and Tyler in 1st grade.

Walking across the school field as they do evey morning to get to class.  Check out their new fancy playground that was installed this summer.  Their school has been raising money for this for years.

Lexi at field day (yes those are whiskers on her face).

McKinley with her cute bouffant.  She's showing of the MDF floors we had in the kitchen for a couple months.

Pretty princess

A highlight of August was our excursion to see Les Miserables in Denver.  I got the tickets for Nate for Christmas, so we had anxiously been awaiting this show for many months!  It's Nate's all-time favorite show and is at the top of my list too.  It was AAAA-MAZING!!!!

We were both so giddy!!!! :)

More cutie pics of our baby girl :)

Alfalfa...

These are the faces I saw as I walked back into the room after a few minutes away.  This is the "Yeah, -we- ate- over -half -the -box -of- cheesy -crackers- and -made -a -mess- all- over -the- floor- and -our -clothes -while -you- weren't- looking, -but -we -sure- are -cute" -expression. :)

Fun in the tub!  Look how long her hair is.

In August Lexi & Tyler also started soccer.  They both improved soooo much over the course of the season.

Tyler's team name was "Cottonwood Fire"  & coincidentally Lexi's team was "Cottonwood Heat"

Here's the camp we set up 5 days a week.  McKinley and Colton were both pretty good sports about it all.  That's Colton hiding in the stroller :)
